Montana Boutique Eco-Retreat
What do you imagine where you can connect, heart, mind and body at the base of Montana mountains?
Bodhi Farms could be that place just 2o minutes outside of Bozeman in Cottonwood Canyon. We were enjoying a girls trip with a local Bozeman resident, who shared this hidden gem of a retreat with me.
The 35 acre resort offers 9 glamping tipis scattered alongside Cottonwood creek, nestled amongst pines. It offers moments to breathe in a tranquil setting with creekside yoga, meditation garden, cold plunge creek after your customized yoga class. Our instructor Kat was perfect for our group of all levels. Incredible with water and bird songs around us. It was easy to be present in the moment. The resort offers personalized spa treatments and immersive outdoor experiences as well, because we are in Montana after all. The main thing that impressed us was their commitment to sustainability.
The accommodations were nicely appointed with either king or two queen beds along with robes, inroom coffee maker and luxurious linens lofting the beds for a touch of luxury. These include daily farm fresh breakfast delivered to your tent and class at 10 am to enjoy. The tipi sides open up for warm sunny days and heated floors and blankets are cozy for colder ones. For those who can’t detach totally, WIFI is available. Imagine sleeping near the creek for the most peace lulling to sleep.

The resort has a truly special Field Kitchen restaurant alongside the creek with waterfall in background. Farm to table offering with their own organic farm, wild game, and make sure you go see the pigs. In the summer they have outdoor patio dining and to offer year round they offer heated tipi dining room.
We enjoyed a fabulous brunch with crafted cocktails, the menu would please any foodie. Our waiter, Gage from Louisiana, gave us outstanding service. The entire staff was attentive to our group. We had live music to add to the experience.

The resort is set up for destination weddings, yoga retreats, couples and girls weekends. I can’t imagine a more perfect place to celebrate! I highly recommend this as a consideration as part of your Montana adventure. We were off to Yellowstone Park next!
